Adolescence is a delicate time for developing teens. So much fear about the future and so many new and interesting changes are happening in your life that it's almost overwhelming.
And then a drunk teacher puts on a strip show and shoves a carrot in your ass.
Such is the case with my #8 favorite anime, Ping Pong Club!
As a child of the 80's I was on the receiving end of a deluge of of marketing, one particular niche of this deluge being Japanese animation. This is a niche that haunted the very core of my being and shaped my appreciation of animation as an art form with it's style, stories and distinctive application of drama, action and comedy. Allow me to entertain you as I bloviate, babble, and rant regarding aspects of anime today and titles I would strongly recommend or prescribe caution towards.
